Along with the new Dutch Vogue and some other crap which completely filled my mailbox.
Anyway! It arrived!
I was so excited and nervous. I didn't know what to expect when I opened the envelope.
I was surprised. In a good way I suppose. I expected one photo to be shit and it seems like the top of the last photo (top right, Monclova) is the bit which got exposed to the daylight. Not bad! But then underneath that photo overlapping the Monclova photo and the flower photo, there is this weird black smudge. Not sure what that is.
The photo below that should be a Venetian mask, but it got heavily underexposed. It's fixable, I think.
I'm really astonished this one turned out to be razor sharp. I was waiting so long for Katja to look at the camera and when she finally did, I didn't have the time to focus properly. But apparently my gut-feelings were right and I focussed correctly before she turned her head.
The blurry photo of Raisa on the top left is rather rubbish. But I love the movement of the blurry photo on the bottom of the second row. The poppies (top second row) are pretty as well.
Overall, I'm satisfied and I think I will try this camera more often in the future.
Oh by the way. Apparantly we're going to work in a black and white darkroom Thursday. So chances are that I can't work with this film. Bummer.
