Ballerina

A dream has come true.

I am fascinated by ballerinas, their elegance and their tenderness. Today I got the privilege to photograph Marlijn, a ballerina.
I knew today would be a fairytale as soon as Marlijn walked in while holding her tutu on a hanger with her pointe shoes in her hands. All of the expectations I had of ballerinas were true and beyond beautiful. I was so overwhelmed!

Here are two photos from today. Her (worn out!) pointe shoes, the tutu, the pose... Enchanting!

I loved working with Marlijn today and I can only hope I may photograph her again in the future.
